Songwriter Eric Stevens Has Been Commissioned To Write Songs For A Musical E-mail

Virginia Beach, Virginia songwriter and client of Atomic Sound and Media, and Gray Area Music, Eric Stevens has been commissioned to write songs for a show entitled “Fifty Ain’t Nifty,” by Ned McIntosh.  The play will run in Ocean City, MD in October and November. The story is based on a thirtieth reunion of St. Augustine High School during which “The Fountain of Youth” is discovered. McIntosh, formerly of Sandbridge, authored “Satchmo and Hoagy,” which fared well on the Eastern Shore last summer. Stevens, a pianist, singer, and humorist, has written well over three hundred songs.  His “One Nation Under God” received lengthy airplay on WNIS.  He is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers, and serves on the Executive Board of the Norfolk Musicians Association, Local 125 of the American Federation of Musicians. A selection of his compositions are being published by Gray Area Music, LLC. Working demos for the musical will be recorded by Atomic Sound & Media.
